Project: Purchase of Supplementary Food for Wildlife
In 2019, parts of Southern Africa experienced the worst drought in 30 years. Subsequently, the ZWT facilitated a food programme for local wildlife, supplementing sparse grazing in the Chiawa GMA with a combination of hay, game pellets and salt licks, ultimately allowing the animals to survive until the beginning of the next wet season.
